Intermediate Classes

Private Lessons

I offer private tuition to take place either in your own home or in a studio. You can book one session (at a cost of £35 per session) or a block of 8 for £240. One session is roughly an hour and a quarter. These prices are for locations in Edinburgh, outwith this additional travel expenses apply.

If you opt for a one-off session you can choose to have a it focus on a particular topic (i.e. Egyptian Walk, Tribal-fusion stylisations, use of finger cymbals, etc). An 8 week block will follow a term-like pattern and if you wish you can request the term focus more exclusively on the Classic Egyptian or the Tribal Fusion style.

I have tuition slots during the day and a limited number in the evening. Please contact me to make further enquiries.

If you have any questions about the above classes and workshops, please contact me. Concessionary prices are available for people who are students, unemployed or retired.

Please note: to ensure quality teaching & learning classes are generally restricted to a maximum of 10 students. Advance booking is required.

General advice for all classes: wear comfortable clothing & bring a scarf long enough to tie around your hips. Jeans & tight trousers are usually not suitable as they tend to restrict your hip movements. It is a good idea to bring a bottle of water to class as well.

The style of bellydance taught is predominantly 'Classic Egyptian' with elements of Raqs Sharqi, Tribal Fusion and anything else that I have discovered and find beautiful. I encourage students to make their own style and to pick and choose the elements that have resonance with them.
